Rebecca worked at a day program for people with dementia as a caregiver, fundraiser, and Assistant Program Coordinator. She is immediate past Chair of the Sacramento Senior Safe House Advisory Committee and past chair of the Sacramento County Adult and Aging Commission.
A peek into Rebecca’s accomplishments:
· Certified by the CA Department of Social Services to be an administrator for residential care facilities for the elderly
· Published several opinion articles regarding dementia and care giving
· Public speaker on age-related topics
· Founded a networking group, Leaders and Executives of Adult Day Services (L.E.A.D.S.).
· Education: M.S. in Systems Thinking, B.S. in Industrial Technology, A.A. in Gerontology
· Certified as a Gerontology Activities Specialist, completed certification program about dementia
Ken Cross graduated the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1974 with a degree in civil engineering. He served as a U.S. Army airborne, ranger, armor officer from 1974-1984. After his service, Ken was a self-employed financial planner, sales manager, and corporate sales and management trainer serving career military service members.
Since 1995, he has volunteered and worked in the non-profit sector with the American Red Cross, UC Davis Hospice, and the Spiritual Life Center. From 2003-2015, he was the CEO and President of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento.
Ken has served on the Board of Directors of Women’s Empowerment, the Sacramento Housing Alliance, the Aids Housing Alliance, the Sacramento Regional Coalition to End Homelessness, and the Renaissance Society.
BOARD TREASURER
Cassandra Barry has worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years specializing in senior financial protection and wellbeing. She is CEO of Lagunitas Asset Management and CLB Insurance Services, an Independent agency that works with all national carriers that provide exceptional customer service and products.
She has assisted thousands of Medicare beneficiaries nationwide to assess their personal healthcare needs and identify the Medicare plans that match their individual requirements. Cassandra continually participates in National Medicare Training Workshops and the annual certification for Medicare plans through America’s Health Insurance plans (AHIP).
BOARD SECRETARY
Silvia Molina is a Gerontological Specialist and is currently a Community Education Specialist in the Supportive Oncology Services department at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Previous to UC Davis, Silvia worked at Yolo Hospice as a Community Ambassador. Prior to that, she worked for 16 years at The Community College Foundation, a nonprofit serving underprivileged youth and families, where she was the Director of Business Relations.
Since 2014, Silvia has served as an appointed Commissioner on the Sacramento County Adult & Aging Commission. She has served as the Commission’s Vice Chair, Recruitment and Orientation Committee Chair, and Chair of their educational resource forum.

Gerontechnology enthusiast and international program manager, Keri has successfully led several complex initiatives in finance, global supplier management and healthcare information. Her experience crosses both the nonprofit and public sectors. Having lived abroad in various countries and traveled extensively, Keri brings a global perspective to the challenges and solutions of aging issues.
